I often use a doll, and this doll in particular has become my avatar in a series of assemblages I’ve created. “The Crossing” is a symbol for crossing between worlds, phases of life, from life to death, from the known into the unknown. She rides her ally across the mysterious abyss.. being carried… in mutual love …
protected and watched over by angels on each side of the passage. She finds balance and clarity in the focus of moving forward with embodied reverence to all that has carried her to this point. She sees the deep mystery within ALL experience and fuses with its beauty. Heart wide open emanating the consciousness… Come what may… I am here… welcome… thank you.
