Wonder Tender Friends”
2025
This particular doll has become my avatar in a series of assemblages I’ve created. This particular dragon continues to be a friend and ally I’ve used in other works. The dragon has grown bigger in this piece. These friends are surrounded by cairns, the stacked rocks… signs, marking the path. Even in the hard strange world they inhabit, they share closeness, trust, curiosity, and wonder toward the mystery inside this … dragon egg. Magic swirls within, as they are watching… waiting… together …at home with each other, guarded by an angel.
